Your interest in the unforgettable Forgotten Coast is understandable. It is truly one of the most beautiful and tranquil spots on the entire Gulf Coast of Florida, with three story building height restrictions and amazingly low density. We love to walk the numerous beaches in the area and not have to walk around beach chairs or umbrellas. The beauties of nature are what attract residents, visitors and investors to this area. The area includes a 28 mile barrier island, St. George Island, with an award-winning state park at one end and with sugary sand beaches facing the Gulf on the west side and docks and sunset enthusiasts facing the bountiful Apalachicola Bay on the east side; a beautiful peninsula, Cape San Blas curving around St. Joe Bay, with another award-winning state park at the tip of the peninsula; the quaint town of Apalachicola, home to the world-famous Apalachicola Bay oysters; and Carrabelle, which still maintains its sleepy fishing village charm, at least for a little while. Nature lovers enjoy an abundance of bald eagles, pelicans, osprey, native palms, live oak, native flowers, state and federal parks and even a snowy owl or two--plus especially nice people.

We retired to St. George Island from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta. We have invested in property on the Gulf Coast since the early 1990’s and finally found the Forgotten Coast area. It was a dream come true, one of the most beautiful, unspoiled spots on the entire Gulf Coast. We love to discuss the many wonderful features of St. George Island and the surrounding Forgotten Coast areas, whether it is the fishing, the shelling, the boating, the tranquil beaches or the sunsets.

We both come from strong corporate backgrounds, with in-depth knowledge of investing and management.
